Bioparc – Valencia, Spain
rich mineral deposits in limestone cave (hand carved and painted)
Hollie and Brent worked more than four years on the building of the new “state of the art” Zoo in Valencia called, Bioparc. Working with some of the most reputable artists who were assembled by Jose Maldonado the owner, to undertake the construction. All of the painting in the park was carried out by the two under the direction of Hollie Wittman who, in working closely the owner, painted over 100,000 square meters of finishes including facades, trees, and dozens of classifications of rock treatments (marble quarts, limestone, various granites, sandstones, lava etc.). Brent, with colleague artist Vincente Antelm and others, shaped and carved the 28,000 square meter Kitum cave. Complete with stalactites water features for turtles, fish, hippos and crocodiles.
